It was almost like being in a public pool and it wasn't crowded at all.
We met Jon and Brit at church...funny that we met several people who had a connection to Washington....or to our ward....or to our family. The Stake President was visiting and Jon found out his sister is in our ward....she is a dear lady and she and her husband have been so good to our boys. After church a mom about Jennys age came up and asked if I had a daughter named Jennifer....Jensen....with a husband named Logan? She knew Jenny at BYUI and was in a FHE group with Logan. She follows Jenny's blog...what a small world!! After church we headed to their apartment...it was a LONG way to get there.......
Yes....a L-O-N-G way!!! Just across the street!! That is their apartment complex in the background.
I am SOOOO impressed with Brittany. She is teaching Jon alot about cooking. Here they are making yummy chicken fajitas for us for lunch. Yes, it was fast Sunday, but we had all completely forgot....they work so well in the kitchen together:) We just HAD to play another game of Millionaire Monopoly Deal.....
We felt bad that we needed to get on the road. If I had not talked to Sadie every day for the past week telling her we would see her on Sunday....after she went to church....and after she woke up from her nap...we would have stayed another night...our time was too short. We will just have to go back!
It was about a 4 1/2 hour drive to central Utah and sweet as ever Sadie ran out and greeted us, jumping into my arms...and Isaac was fast behind giving Grandpa loves. We were so busy living in the moment no thought of pictures entered my mind. We enjoyed another yummy meal....this time prepared by Jenny....Chicken enchaladas...we played with the kids (mostly I was busy hugging them...they were SO snuggly with me.) I had Jenny and her Dad pose just before we got ready for bed, just so you would see we really arrived!!
Stay tuned......
