Through the Years

Today is my little girls 25th birthday! Hard to believe, I know. Yesterday as I went to the baptism of a little girl Jenny was nanny for, I was overcome with tears as we sang the opening song....Baptism. It was as if I was back in time, remembering when Jenny played that song on the piano for her own brothers baptisms. As little Payton stood up front after her baptism...my mind saw Jenny, dressed in her white baptismal clothes. I know people probably wondered why I was getting so emotional, but I didn't care, I just wiped away the tears and kept my happy memories. Now, she is a mommy and has a little girl of her own that she can love and dress up in pretty dresses and ribbons.
I loved putting her hair in sponge rollers...she has such a pretty smile. 2 years old and adorable!!
Here she is at Easter time when she was 3 years old. I forgot how many cute little outfits she had and how much I loved fixing her hair and dressing her up.
This is one of my very favorites....5 years old and in kindergarden.
At 7 years old she began taking piano lessons...her passion. This was her recital dress.
1st grade and toothless!!! We are proud of the woman she has become....Strong in her faith of our Savior....strong in the love of her family....

HAPPY BIRTHDAY JENNY.....WE LOVE YOU!!

Happy Birthday to my Jenny Poo Poo, inside joke. How proud I am of you and the Woman you are. But still my little girl.

Dad says
The Jenny Poo Poo isn't really a joke just a sweet endearment between my little girl and me.
