Well....all good things must come to an end! We left Jenny and Logans last Friday and headed to Rexburg Idaho to see my friend Ericka who moved there a few months ago....we had a wonderful visit and spent the night. Jon was able to take Josh around the college a bit since that's where we're hoping he will go next year. Sadie and I had fun while we were there....this was taken the night before we left. Each night we would go into Sadies room and she would plop down and fold her arms for prayer....this night she sat on Mommy's lap. It would only last a few seconds, but she's getting the hang of it.
We left Rexburg Saturday morning and headed to Boise so Jon could attend the wedding reception of his dear friend and former missionary companion Daniel and his beautiful bride Rachel. Rachel is finishing up school in Rexburg...Daniel goes to BYU Provo....but they will be in Rexburg for a while longer. They have big plans to take Jon out on a blind date when he gets there....and Rachel plans of feeding Jon too! That will be good since he's planning on living on Ramen noodles and mac and cheese (NOT my idea)
Jon looked up and there was a family who had lived in Missouri when Jon was there....he and Daniel used to go to their house for dinner alot. They were very friendly and have since moved to Boise...it was fun to meet them. They have a brand new 2 week old baby girl. Then of course what would going home be without some beautiful scenery pictures. We headed home from Boise Sunday morning....here we are as we began to enter the Gorge.
I LOVE when we round the corner and there standing majestically is Mt. Hood...this picture doesn't do it justice, but it's pretty nonetheless.
I'm always enthralled by these wind turbines....there are thousands of them throughout eastern Oregon and we even saw some in Idaho. I asked Josh how they worked and of course he gave me the lowdown on the whole process......they just amaze me!
Anyway.....life goes on and I've been keeping busy since we got home. School starts next week! AND ....keep your fingers crossed....Josh is taking his drive test tomorrow...it would be great if he could pass the first time. Jon says they flunk you on purpose just to get another $20. Hope not!

Glad you had a nice trip. :)
Sounds like a wonderful trip! That's great that you were able to go around BYU-Idaho, and that Jon was able to see people from his mission. :) Good luck to Josh on his driving test, you'll have to keep us updated! :)
